Abstrakty : Essential oils of Lolium perenne and Bromus hordeaceus (family Poaceae) were obtained by hydrodistillation and analysed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, a powerful tool for qualitative and quantitative analysis of essential oil components. Both oils were found to be rich in eugenol and methyleugenol.
